When I think of all-around tech & media experts, Cara Cottingham is one of the first names to pop to mind. I worked with Cara for a year and half at Shared Hope International on their communications team. Whether it be launching a brand new website, or solving network admin issues, Cara was always ready and eager to tackle any project with a positive attitude. I watched Cara juggle an always full workload with professionalism, speed, courage, and a great sense of humor.

I hired Cara to design the Salmon Creek Journal’s website. She ended up taking on the role of our layout editor as well part way through the year when the prior layout editor quit unexpectedly. Cara seamlessly stepped into that job, embracing it with gusto. Ultimately, the look of the journal in 2009 was due to Cara’s creativity, her instincts, and her passion for art.
